This plant belongs to the daisy family of Asteraceae.

The origin is unknown even though it was cultivated for long history in southern Europe at first and later throughout northern part of Europe as well. Use Calendula oil directly to the area of needed. You can also inhaling the oil through steam of diffuse. Add a few drops in your favorite shampoos, lotions or massage oil. In case you have sensitive skin, apply a few drops and test the oil to a homemade pad of a cloth bandage, leave it on your forearm for more than 12 hours before you apply regularly to your skin.

CAUTION

Use with Caution & Make Sure To Dilute with Carrier Oil Calendula may cause an allergic reaction in people who are sensitive to essential oils. Stop using Calendula 2 weeks before a medical surgery. This oil should not be directly apply on your face without dilution.
